If you are an employee who makes his/her own lunch, packed it up and went office then you must have a mixer grinder at home. Mixer grinder consumes less time and help us to make food early. It saves our valuable time. keeping that in mind on 15th December 2017 I brought Singer mixer grinder. I choose this grinder because it was available in affordable price with only 2 jar. As other company grinder had 3 jars and price was much higher.
Singer-Grinder has good look and the weight was also good. Its neither heavy nor too light to carry or move. When I purchased it I got 1 year warranty on the product. The shopkeeper has assured on its quality and has said it will work till 10 years he was quite confidant on the product he sells. he was even buttering me to purchase Electrical kettle of Singer company.
The day I brought this mixer I grind some garam masala on it and stored it for future use. First 2-3 uses of this grinder makes me happy as it saves my time and I was able to attend some of my urgent morning meetings(laughs).
But it betrayed me on my 5th use of it, it starts giving trouble on 31st of December 2017. I can felt the variations of the sound itself plus it gets automatically off during the process. And finally on 2nd January 2018 it has been totally stopped working. Can you imagine how would you feel when you buy a product, a branded product with one year warranty and you cannot use it for more than 5 times. The first thought came on my mind is I should go for Usha or bajaj instead of Singer. Though it cost little higher but at least it will work.
My heart felt out and I call log in the service center of Singer and handed over them my Grinder machine. They assured to return it on another 7 working days. When I went to collect my grinder machine they says it will take some more 7-10 days as the Motor(Main part of the machine) get burnt and they need to exchange that part which will take some few days. I asked them is it happened due to any fluctuation in the electric voltage? They replied no this manufacturing default. Now can any one tell me why singer is selling these kinds of manufacturing fault product in market?
They are just fooling people by selling the products which they aren’t confident enough. I have never seen such kind of grinder in my life. Singer Polo 500 W mixer grinder is worst grinder ever.
Recommendation: Do not buy this grinder of Singer. They give 1 year warranty but you cannot use new product for more than 5 times.
