I had ordered a ***Blaupunkt - San Diego 530 - Navigation Enabled Car Audio Player with order no. 2839855021 o 14th Sept 2014**.* I received the product on 20th Sept 2014 at 4:10pm. The product I received was shabbily packed and also was not in company **sealed** box i.e the seal was broken.


When I opened the box, I found that product was a **second hand one as the warranty card supplied with the product has a stamp of 15th May 2014**. Also there was a dent on upper right side of the product. Also, as it was a navigation audio system, the box mentioned that maps in SD card need to be supplied with the product(included in company sealed box). Immediately at around 4.45pm I lodged a complaint with Snapdeal regarding receiving a second hand as well as incomplete product with **complaint no. 9487078.** After 4 days I got this mail:


**"We would like to inform you that seller will dispatch the short item within 1-2 working day. Request you to wait shipment will be delivered to you shortly. Once we will receive the dispatch details from seller, we will share the same with you."**


I called them up and asked them what about the product being second hand. To this they assured me that they would be providing me proper compensation and I should go ahead and get the product installed from their installation partner:Crossroads. When the installation guy installed the product, the Bluetooth section of the audio system already had numbers and a blackberry paired with it.


Also after installation I found that the DVD drive of the system was not working. I again lodged another complaint regarding product being second hand with complaint no. 9487301. Till 10 days I received no response from there side.  Then after calling and mailing them repeatedly, ***they are insulting me by giving a compensation of Rs 2000 that also in SD cash for a product with MRP of Rs.30990.*** Firstly why should I be accepting a product which is second hand?


And if I do accept, then I should be paying in accordance with rate for a second hand product and not New. I am a very regular online buyer from 2006(started my online buying with ebay and a privileged customer with Flipkart and Myntra). But never in my eight years of experience I have had this kind of a problem. Snapdeal disappoints not only me, but thousands of other customers who are facing numerous other problems with this e-retailer.


*Disappointed and dejected with services and product of SNAPDEAL. I would not recommend it for anyone as they are pathetic in customer service and also you dont get assurance of genuine new product guarantee from them. Their Trustpay is just on papers and they dont follow I would like to get a little bit of help from fellow reviewers with regards to putting up a case against SNAPDEAL in consumer forum.*
