Plot: Ved bhardhan sahani, the protagonist of the film who used to live in simla and was very effected and passionated about storytelling. He wanted to be a great storyteller but his family specifically his father wanted that Ved would be an engineer. So he became an engineer and lived his life almost like a machine. Then Tara came to his life like an angel. Ved and Tara fall in love with each other. She identified the real Ved who had hidden in the engineer ved. Besides Ved was already a prisoner of this society and tried to get out to be the real himself. So he started behaving like a bipolar. At last by the period of time he recovered himself by the help of his beloved Tara and ultimately became a great storyteller.
Cast and performance : Ranbir kapoor has done a great job as Ved. I can’t imagine anyone else who can fit in that space. His tremendous acting skill made this charecter alive. Deepika padukone as tara is such as great as Ranbir’s ved. Another tremendous performance is done by piyush mishra. After all, all the actors has done a great job.
Music and soundtrack: a complete incredible music album is done by Ar rahman. All the songs are very good specially Ager tum sath ho connects the audience most.
Background score is very nicely played a vital role in this film to create different emotions.
Cinematography and lighting : decent cinematic visuals has played a great role for this narrative. Also use of the light is notable. At last I would like to thank the writer and the director Imtiaz Ali for this incredible gift. It is not just a film, it is a film which has a magical power to connect with the soul of the audience. It is my all time favourite movie. Thank you for your time.
