Viruddh, a film about an old aged couple, sweet, harmony and humble. typical Maharashtrian retired couple whose only son [john] studying in abroad his the hope.
the story is quite simple, the old couples struggle to get justice for their sons innocence. nothing dramatic to offer, but the plus point of the film is its simplicity.
The film is clear of its thought, its presentation and narration. thank god there are no songs in the movie.
The plus points in the movie as below :
No.1 to No.10 : Big B [This God rocks, rocks and keeps rocking]
I think we should thank god that we are fortunate that we are on this earth at he same timewhen his rocking.
The bes example is the acceptanceof the Character he swallows, it is very easy to relate with the Characters name in the Movie.
A couple of week back, Sarkar image overshadowed the big B himself. And now you Mr.Vidya a simple vunerable man who loves to l;augh can not control his teras overshadows the Big B again. Watch the scen where he is sitting in the garden and remembers about his Laughter Club days and imitates the action. I bet it can bring teras to anybodys eyes.
Hats off to you Big B. Black, Waqt, B&B, Sarkar, Viruddh.
Big B, we are now more hungry. Thankyou very much for giving every penny woth the expensive multiplex ticket.
The rest of the starcast are very likeable. sharmillji is very adorable. Though many must not be knowing that Saif was the very first choice for Johns role, he would have given a excellent Chemistry between the real mom and son pair. Nothing taking away from John, he has worked very well and honestly.
The film is a little slow in pace and the climax could have been better. Sanjays presence in the climax could have made the climax litte commercialbut entertainig.
Watch it once definately for the movie and one more time for Big B.
Way to go Man... sorry GOD
