These days, its really hard to keep track of the smartphones that are ushering in the market shelves; especially when smartphones sport; more or less; a same look, similar hardware with negligible tweaks and same price tag. Now, we are in an era of quantitative smartphones, rather than qualitative smartphones.
Along comes Realme 8, to bring something new in this price segment; and considering the specs its holding up, it looks like the job has been done efficiently.

PROS
The highlight of the phone is its Super AMOLED display which does bring the fun to viewing videos and movies. Furthermore, it comes with a Under Display Fingerprint Scanner, which to be honest, is impressive at this price point.
The camera setup do perform the job efficiently, although the back cameras could have been better with a Sony sensor, ( thinking Realme 7).
CONS
With DARE TO LEAP printed on the backside of the phone, the design might look unique to few out there; on the majoritarian side, looks have not been a strong point of the handset.
Next, the Mediatek Helio G95 Processor is one that had been used in Realme 7. So, as a successor, Realme 8 should have been built on a better hardware configuration, rather than clocking the same processor as its predecessor.
VERDICT
With the exception of a could have been better hardware & an unattractive design, a BIG BATTERY, a SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY & an UNDER DISPLAY FINGERPRINT SENSOR does make the phone a WORTHY SUCESSOR to Realme 7.
