I recently purchased the Realme C63 in hopes of finding a reliable budget smartphone, but my experience has been very disappointing. Despite an attractive price and on-paper specs, the phone leaves something to be desired in several key areas.
One of the biggest issues is the phones performance. The Realme C63 struggles with basic tasks, with noticeable lags even when switching between apps or surfing the web. The processor seems only capable of handling minimal usage, making the phone frustratingly slow. The camera was a selling point for me, but its disappointing again. Photos lack clarity and sharpness, especially in low light. Even in well-lit environments, images are often grainy and lacking detail, which is a big drawback if you enjoy photography.
Battery life is another issue. While the phone seems to hold a good charge at first, regular use drains the battery quickly. Even moderate tasks like streaming video and using GPS will drain the battery at an alarming rate, meaning youll be reaching for the charger more often than necessary.
The display is decent considering the price, but its not particularly vibrant and the viewing angles are subpar. The build quality also feels cheap and flimsy, and the plastic casing lacks the ruggedness youd expect from even a budget device.
Overall, the Realme C63 feels like a missed opportunity. If youre looking for an affordable phone, there are better options out there that offer smoother performance, better cameras, and more reliable battery life. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this phone.
