Despite the abundant redness of the interiors, the place is actually quite cool. Cool enough to hang out with friends or family or colleagues. The wood in the floor warms up the ambience even as it relieves the redness. The air-conditioning is just right. If red is not your color, pick the upper level. There’s still enough red but the impact is somewhat attenuated.
Picking and choosing from the assorted mix of savories in their menu is an appetizer unto itself. It worked up my hunger to plundering point. It is at that point, I called for Love Dream - a black currant, cranberry, peach and apricot mocktail. If you’re looking for some nibble to go with your drink, I would recommend the poppy seed coated cheese rolls that went well with my salt-rimmed glass of deep red Love Dream. The subtle taste of the rolls allows you a savory experience without it getting in the way of your drink.
The service was nice and the DJ played music from the 80’s, or was that the 70’s? Either way, songs that I like. Caveat: Bread box, their in-house bakery, will destroy your I’ll-diet-from-today-itself plans.
