Better know to be the place from which the Prime Minister of India addresses the Nation every Independence day on 15th August.I went to this place before 2 years ago.
This was made by the fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
This place has a grand entrance and lot of security checks.How ever the place is ill maintained with zero amenities and history mismanaged with all significant buildings falling apart or sealed as no entry zone.After the long walk to the main section one may feel that it was the utter waste of time.just click pictures at the entrance its not worth more than an hour.There is a museum right in the middle of the complex which has some historic pictures
but lack of air conditioning will make you feel nauseating.
By the way Lal Qila is now’AAN BAAN SHAAN’ of our country.So it should be better to take a tour once in your life.
