Well, I was born and raised inDelhi. Currently I am pursuing my Bachelors in History. Therefor, my love towards historical monuments is obvious. I have visited almost every Historical place in Delhi. And Red Fort(lal Qila) is one of them.
Red fort is sometimes to be pronounced asLal Qila in Hindi/Urdu because of its red color. This was built by the 5th Mughal emperorShah Jahan in 1638. Red forts design is credited to the same architectUstad Ahmad Lahauri who designedTaj Mahal. The fort had been a residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years.
This is really a magnificent place to visit. you will feel its energy and get to see those weapons, clothes and ornaments were once used by Mughals.
A must visit.:)
