Delhi's pride.

Well, I was born and raised in’Delhi’. Currently I am pursuing my Bachelors in History. Therefor, my love towards historical monuments is obvious. I have visited almost every Historical place in Delhi. And Red Fort(lal Qila) is one of them.

Red fort is sometimes to be pronounced as’Lal Qila’  in Hindi/Urdu because of it’s red color. This was built by the 5th  Mughal emperor’Shah Jahan’ in 1638. Red fort’s design is credited to the same architect’Ustad Ahmad Lahauri’ who designed’Taj Mahal’. The fort had been a residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years.

This is really a magnificent place to visit. you will feel it’s energy and get to see those weapons, clothes and ornaments were once used by Mughals.

A must visit.:)
