For a common man it’s very hard to realize the need of computing power in day-to-day life. On the other hand every now and them people in this field are able to change things very quickly. Sometime this indirectly benefits, because in computer science everything need not visible to the common man.

The Open softwares are really helpful when it comes for the student community. I strongly believe this all start after the great revolutionary launch of LINUX. In the year 1998 when Red Hat launched its Desktop version of LINUX, it all changes suddenly. Till date it was consider as very hard you all groups of student to find a copy and install it in their systems. Now in the market of Operating system LINUX are ahead of any other featured product of Microsoft. They have a good share in Indian developers too around 38% or odd.
The way Linux has changed things in these 6 years are just incredible, form X - windows to full fledged desktop computing and of course the power lies behind the networking aspects of Linux for which it was known well and inspired Microsoft to launch their NT version.
Now a day LINUX considered as the most stable and secure operating system world wide with loads of advanced features for everyone starting from developers to the common user of computers & students. The GUI makes it really simple for use of anyone, it’s a worth to watch and work.
I can say this is all about a very brief description of a wealthy operating system which has the at most computing software power in it, whether its development of application or using the featured product every time your at a safe side to decide what you want next to do, because you have given the freedom of computing power to select the right thing.
