I have used this site multiple times now and have had a wonderful experience everytime I use it. I came across it by trial and error. I was doing a search for online bus booking and this was the first site that showed up.
I didn’t expect to find tickets for the route I was traveling. There are very few buses that ply that route. I was shocked to find not just the route, but also tickets. And you won’t believe this - I chose my seat !
Being in sales I travel frequently and have used IRCTC, makemytrip, cleartrip, yatra, and all online airline sites too. No body lets you choose a seat.I am so very impressed with the number of routes they have. I have seen some other sites that do bus booking (including yatra). They are nothing short of apalling. I mean, they don’t have more than 5-10 routes. I don’t understand why they promise it when they can’t do it properly.
redbus is really excellent in this term. Better yet, I have many times not had time to take a print out. So I used their home delivery service. It’s hardly 25 bucks. But it’s so convenient for people like me. This service is excellent and I am sure it will change the way India looks at bus travel. I am sure foreigners will love this site. They will not have to depend on travel agents that usually fleece them just because they have $.
I wish them best luck. I hope they go IPO. I will buy their shares.
