I traveled in the JTS Rahamath-Yes Bee travels bus on 15th Oct from Bangalore to Thrissur. I had booked this ticket in Redbus seeing that the drop point is at Railway Station Road (Opp Popular Automobile) at Thrissur. I paid the higher fare of Rs. 1234, just because of the above drop point, as I had many other cheaper tickets available for drop point at Mannuthy bye-pass. Since I was travelling with family I chose this option at a higher cost.
But when I boarded the bus I got the response that we will be dropped at Mannuthy bye-pass and not anywhere near Thrissur town. The bus operators didnt even bother to listen to us and told that its Redbus issue, and not theirs. Leave alone acknowledging the issue, their behavior was rude and as if I have done some sin booking the ticket through Redbus in their travels. A while later I came to know that its not just me but lot of other passengers also had the same issue.
I wrote to Redbus in their email regarding this issue but there has been no response till date. Who is going to take ownership of this? Is redbus going to take the ownership or the operator?
On checking with the operator they told that they still have buses every week with drop point mentioned as Bye-pass and I can go and check in the website on the drop point. I am attaching the screen shot which I took now on the drop point details. The operators were arguing that its not their mistake, it was rebuss mistake. Attached is the screenshot of the details that is still available in Rebus website.
Anyways I am sure neither Redbus nor JTS Rahamath Travels can sustain for long. They can make few people fools for sometime, but cannot make all fools all the time.
