I tried booking a ticket through redbus a couple of weeks ago and as always the transaction failed and amount is debited from my account. Now that I am used to such instances, initiate the process of calling the customer care a couple of times till such time I come across someone sensible to speak to. Mr. Sensible backs on technical glitch and hence the debit from my account and provides a complaint ticket and assurance that the amount will be credited back to my account in 7 days - Fair enough(You can live on interest gathered from my payment for one week).
But then it aint right to do this for another week(Now thats a big No) - youve already made your money - now dont be greedy. When I call you back after 8 days, you tell me that I have to provide a proof of debit and then wait for another 7 days to get my refund. I just dont get it. So now you want to gather interest for one more week - No Sir this is NOT DONE.
Maybe you are not good enough to avoid such technical glitches but it is not too difficult to get some basic ethics into your business model and avoid such instances.And BTW it doesnt cost too much to employ a good customer support team.
Let me know if someone cares at Redbus to put this right.
