Here is the experience and why I call them fraud.
I booked a bus ticket from Hyderbad to nagpur for my family for 23-APR( kaleswari 2+1 sleeper) bus. The ticket number is TH5947868864.
Since I needed to change one of the passengers, called rebus customer care and waited for long time. As expected no answer. With no option left I cancelled the ticket. Rebus charged me 465 Rs cancellation charge, which is Ok.
Then I tried to book the ticket for the same date 23-APR-2015, for the same bus. This time the transaction is completed, money is deducted from my icici bank account but the ticket is not generated. When we asked for a call back option, someone from the redbus called and told that they cannot book a ticket. Reason not provided.
I can still see same bus available on there site for booking on the same day. If they cannot book a ticket why the hell they have to deduct the money.
Frustrated with Redbus, I went to sree kaleswari travels and searched for booking for 23-APR-2015.
To my utter surprise, there is no bus service available on 23-APR-2015 and Redbus booked and confirmed a ticket for me for a non-existent bus.
Two Problems:
1) On the Day of Travel since there is no bus night 10 o’clock my family would have nowhere to go an would have created an unpleasant situation. Who to blame.
2) Redbus gave me the ticket for non-existent bus and then charged me 465 Rs for cancellation. Is this not a fraud, Booking ticket for a non-existent bus?
