Rediffmail is highly unreliable. I checked some of my older mails and it was just blank !!! It showed sender-unknown, date-1/1/70 and other fields blank with no content and attachments. I was zapped, I lost all my important documents which I saved it there.
Now, even in routine mails, it is competing with Indian Post. It will take good 12-24 hours to deliver a mail. I asked one of my office colleagues sitting down stairs to send me some files on my rediff mail and you know it reached to me after 13 hours !! I was thinking that she is telling lies that she has sent it well in time but luckily didn’t react that time else would have spoiled working relations. And not once, this is now happening multiple times, once my mail didn’t reach other person.
I reported incidences to their customer care (which I reached to after long R&D, not easily accessible) there was an automated acknowledgement mail and there after no response. When called them up they said ’our technical team is looking into the matter. Then no response/action....disappeared !
I have started using my other gmail a/c but problem is transferring my address book. So, sincere advice- DON"T USE REDIFF and NEVER RELY on its services. If you do, you may risk entire work, relationships and all related things.
