My Company used Regus for three horrific years at Newcastle. Here are just a few examples of the Regus ethos;
Stolen articles by Regus staff(we have web-cam evidence).
Regus operate a "rolling contract" scam. You can read this in the mind blowing small print of the contract.
Im a laid back sort of guy(Ive been told) and six times I had to put pen to paper to complain about the unprofessional staff at Regus. But of course - the complaint just fell on deaf ears.
Meeting rooms are set at £60 per hour - round the corner from Regus there is an amazing coffee shop which will sell you a conference room for £100 for the whole day. Oh! and dont whatever you do get theTea and Coffee package. That will leave you bankrupt, Regus charge around £30 for tea and coffee, it’s cheaper to hit Starbucks!
The Regus at Newcastle was 60% occupied. I was told that I was unable to use the new business lounge(which of course was empty) because this wasfor people traveling to this Regus from outside the area. I walked in and used it anyway!
Now it gets funny. When I was initially sucked in by the fake marble lifts and velvet carpet, I was paying £290 per month as well as a massive deposit. Three years later I was paying £1300 for 100 sq/ft and then the extra charges on top of that - such as £100 per month for one parking space.
After leaving the Regus scam and settling into my lovely new office. I was contacted by a debt collection Company who asked me for £8, 349.00 of unpaid bills owed to Regus. I then proved that all bills had been paid and didn’t even receive an apology from Regus or any of the unprofessional staff at the Newcastle Quayside Scam.
