Great Trap

I started a New business and chosen Regus as my business identity. I signed off with Regus at one of their offices in Hyderabad for shared office plan last year for 6 months duration. The first renewal was done with my consent after a personal discussion before renewal.

Towards the end of the first renewal I sensed downturn in my business and personally requested the officers to consider and change my plan to virtual office plus. The officers appeared to have taken my request seriously. The issue was dragged on for a couple of months although I was continuously reminding them. One day the senior officer advised me to put the request in writing. I did so and there comes a negative reply saying only up gradation of the contract is possible and not downgrading. I was shocked at the unfriendly customer attitude exhibited by the officers in a competitive market. In the meanwhile my contract was renewed silently without my consent. Last three 3 months I have been forced to continue the same plan and pay the rentals. These officers dilly dallied until the contract is renewed and shot out a mail saying it is not possible.

This is unprofessional. All the officers concerned are aware of my request but ignore it purposely and trapped me into renewal. There was no communication in writing before or after about the contact renewal. This is clearly deficiency of service. None of the officers have any time to spend with the existing customers to hear what their concerns are. They are all busy with prospects and most of the time is spent on concalls. When I call, the respondent will say I am busy and will call back. This never happen. If I want to escalate the problem the Hong Kong office directs me to the local branch head to the person where the problem exists.  They aspire to offer 5 star services to the customer. I wonder this is how they want to achieve. This is an alert to all those who want to sign off with Regus.
