If you have ever been in love - you must be aware of this strange feeling. Before you let the other person know of your feelings. Sleepless nights, daydreaming and what not.
I dont know what year this album was launched but since last 4-5 years or more may be - it has remained so close to my heart. Hams Jayraj has done a wonderful job in composing all the songs. I never heard his name earlier, may be I am too poor in Music Sense but his music is damn good to our ears. Sameer has written the songs, which is indeed wonderful, Voices of Shaan, KK, Roop Kumar Rathod, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sonu Nigam looks as fresh as it could be on any given day.
I will always put in the CD in shuffle mode and listen to all the songs, all of the songs are cool and worth it, they sound even better if you had a fight with your Girl Friend / Spouse, or may be if she has left you (Not permanently) :)
As they say ’’until and unless you are not hurt - the pain doesn’t reflects in your voice’’. If we go by this belief than I am sure to say that Shaan, KK and Roop Kumar Rathod must be really heartbroken in the real life, as they sound so genuine in all of these songs.
Although the Hindi version of the movie didn’t work out well but the Album was quite a hit and it does sells easily to this day.
The Album : Songs :
It starts with a quite a cool song Rehna hai Rehna Hai, Tere Dil Main Rehna hai with Kavita and Sonu Nigam’s voices. Quite a song to start, as if the Hero is running behind the gal and telling her that he really really wants to live in her heart.
Second one is even better Bolo Bolo This one sounds more like the situation where in the guy has met the gal and now his friends need the full story. His heart is jumping up and down with the joy, perfectly performed by Shaan.
Third one is like when he sincerely falls in love with the Gal he has met Dil Ko wherein all he can do full day is dream about his dream gal, whom he have already met and fallen in love with. Roop Kumar’s voice is awesome in this one and the guitar is cool.
Suddenly after proposal something goes wrong in the affair when this one comes up - this is one of the very best songs - Such Keh Raha Hai Its my all time favorite - although more of a sad song, even the video is perfect. This must be amongst the most cherished songs of K K himself, I am sure.
After that - once the guy gives it a final try and fails this one comes up - its not a full song, hardly one minute with very less music - but is very sensible and cool to listen - Kaise Main Kahun Tujhse performed equally well by K K.
Than here comes one of the dream sequences of the movie, with one of the best songs of full album, Zara Zara Performed by Bombay S Jayashri - I dont know she must be a south Indian Singer but with an awesome voice, and the song is too cool, enigmatic deep music and very nice voice. Moreover it’s a dream so it’s too sweet.
This surely was the introduction song for hero and his team, sounds more like a college guys song - Oh Mama Mama Fast music and foot stomping music, even the lyrics is too fast in this one, but worth a listen, quite an ok song.
All in all its a 9 on 10 from my side - I will recommend this Album any day, you can listen to it N number of times without getting bored of it.
