For the music of RHTDM it is a no win situation. However hard I may listen the music always wants to rehnaa in my dil but sadly but heart refuses to give in.Sadly Harris jeyraj who I thought did ok in the tamil version fails to get anywhere with the hindi one.Look letzz just face certain things dont blend let take for instance north and south India as in culture , food habits and particularly music.I am not trying to make racist comments here but hey I am typical south Indian grown up on the strings of classical music but I am very comfy with Hindi and northie culture thanks to my pals and of course the unforgettable Aditya Chopra, Barjatyas with theie DDLJs and HAHKs .Imagine a higly classical song being played at a Sangeet or a mehendi ceremony and a typical Bhanda played at our weddings instead of the traditional Nadaswaram(which is a piped instrument played down here on happy occasions).so what clicks here need not take the north by storm .
(1)Title tracks.-The two , one by Sonu NIgam and kavitha is quite a nice one , but the one by Preety-Pinky steals the thunder the perky beats , the peppy lyrics and the gooood singing makes it worth a encore.
(2)Bolo Bolo-well Shaan fails to lift this song , I guess he is the saving grace though.
(3)O Mama-well see there has and will be only one Aati Kya Khandala and apun Bola so all the other songs which amke any attempt at sounding casual , peppy tryong to potray youth is Bakwas.ok tell me how many of us actually think abt corruption and scams worthy enough to put into songs?the tune is ok but the lyrics a pathetic attempt to talk of us youngsters ides of merriment which sadly is not our kinda things .Taathaiya and ooolaaaa well quite a few space fillers I see there.
(4)Zara Zara-well this is one hell of a groovy song very very sensuous and Bombay Jayshree is absolutely so good that u the song gives u goosebumps and u end up humming it even when u are preoccupied .But some how the tamil version vasikara was a notch better .much more intense , more deep.
Others like Dilko.Such kah raha hai(well I thought sad songs would attain new status afetr the great Tanhayein of DCH which was tears with a difference )but hey such kah raha hai is the usual bewafa song which fails to stir any emtions.
On the whole, RHTDM disappoints , Rahul(loverboy) and shre(sensiva) well guys I dont agree on ur choice as far as this movie goes.
