I had used reliablegreetings.com to send flowers to India(Barrackpore and Kolkata, West Bengal). The deliveries were on time. However I did a mistake of ordering a gift(Rs.2000, black pearl necklace). I placed the order on 27th July to be delivered on 25th Sept 2007(more than a month early). On 25th Sept when the gift didn’t arrive, I called them and enquired. They said that costly gifts are sent through courier and should reach soon.
On 1st Oct(after 6 days) when the gift still didn’t arrive, I sent a strongly worded email and got a reply that the gift was despatched on 29th Sept(4 days after it was supposed to reach). My point is that they had 1 month time to decided whether they will be able to meet their deadline. They could have told me they were out of stock and refunded the money. Even if the courier was delayed I would have understood, but they kept quite and sent the parcel 4 days after the important occasion(my wife’s birthday).
So friends, the website is good for flowers but think twice before ordering any gifts as it may not reach on time. My order number was 28603.
