I have got a broadnet connection from reliance with 4GB free limit for 750Rs on 25th April. The total usage was actually 4160MB which was 100 more than the free limit. I received a bill for 2, 842 for usage from 25th April to 10th May. The actual amount should be 755 whereas I received 2842. I asked the customer care about this and they said that the 4GB limit was on a prorate basis!!!
The point is the bill shows full monthly recurring charge of 750 but the 4GB limit has been proportionate. This was actually not mentioned in any Terms and Conditions. Airtel fares much more better when it comes to billing.
If anyone is thinking about getting reliance broadnet connection then get ready to face such surprises. Their customer service is rude, most of the time when you call them they will say their system is down and if by any chance you get hold of them and if you explain the problem, they wont try to understand the issue. They will simply say thats how it works and wash their hands off.
