I’m using reliance wimax from past 2 yrs.. This is the most unreliable internet connection. I chose reliance because other operators wud dig cables to our home and I felf WiMAX will be a better option. I was completely wrong. Reliance has made this wonderful new technology a bane for customers.
Biggest problem I face was getting seamless connection. I usually start some downloads in morning and go to office. BY the time I come back home in evening, connection will be lost or it will be logged out, completely screwing my download plans. This happened every other day. Thanks to wonderful customer care reliance has got (all reliance products), you will never get connected to any customer care representatives to tell ur grief.
Since I’m using it from past 2 yrs, I have some standard procedure of debug the connection issues. First connect to the antenna changing your system IP address to static IP, then execute some commands to check antenna status or reboot the antenna. But slowly I realized why should I do all these things when I’m paying 1K per month for this sick connection. I deserve a reliable connection for the amount I’m paying.
My patience got over when last week, connection was not available for whole 7 days. The customer care response was awesome(!!??) as always. I decided to ditch reliance. I have one more reliance shitty product @ home, BIG TV. I would like to throw the STB to garbage as soon as my 6 months initial subscription gets over. So never choose reliance product, their tariffs will be cheap, so will be their service.
