Reliance Netconnect Freedom@night plan

If you are buying Reliance Data card, and wishing to subscribe Freedom@night plan: which seems ideal for working professionals like us who seek to surf emails and social networking sites like orkut which are banned in offices.

THINK AGAIN.

I bought usb data card at Rs 3700 /-, (after a week its price slashed down to Rs 2850/-)

the dealer in Bhandup promised me that the monthly rental would be Rs 400+ any usage during day time+ tax.

But when I saw the bills, I was shocked, they have added Advance monthly rental of Rs 174/-(RNJ 149 plan). This RNJ 149 plan comes as a default plan along with data card.

I have now two call recordings.

  1. I am pretending to be a new customer wanting to go for Freedom@night plan. the customer care representative tells me that there is no monthly rental apart from Rs. 400 if I do not make any voice calls.

  2. I call customer care as a reliance netconnect subscriber. They try to convine me that since I am using internet, it is as good as calling, so there would definitely be monthly rental of Rs 174 on top of Rs 400 of freedom@night plan.

Update: after repeatative rounds of calls and me mentioning that I have the proof now how you deceive people, they have now agreed to waive off rental of Rs 174 from my next bill. Let us see, if this does happen or not.

Conclusion: Think twice before going for datacard.
