Terrible experience after purchasing Refrigerator from Reliance Digital.
Purchased a refrigerator on Oct 27th but at the time of delivery on oct 28th They delivered the same model with a different color (came to know from the invoice) I ordered. Immediately returned it without touching the pack.Although they tried to threat me over phone to accept whatever has been delivered. Then I started receiving calls from different store personnel...I am shocked. Somebody called and told me " I have misbehaved with the guys who came to deliver he fridge". Somebody called me and said I kicked them out from my home with the fridge. Then a lady came into picture. She called my wife and threatened that we will have to accept the item under any circumstances..even it is damaged..not running or anything .
They will not replace it as it is not in their policy. They said they have no clue that I asked for a specific color as it is not recorded anywhere.
Finally they said they will not replace it and we are left with no other option but to accept the product.
Emailed reliance Customer care and resq customer care.
Informed their customer centre over phone where I got assurance from a lady that this is very surprising (although I got feedback from net this is very common with reliance digital) and will be taken care within 7 business days.
Although I visited the shop late afternoon where they continued with same argument for sometime (kept me waiting for half an hour )but finally said they don’t have the product with the color of my choice but will deliver within 7 days.
Please beware of Reliance Digital of Axis Mall. Newtown. What a Nightmare !!!!
