We bought a samsung washing from their navi mumbai vashi outlet. we also bought their extented warranty. little did we know that it was a money making scam. Little over two years when the company warranty got over the machine started giving trouble. so we called the reliance guy to fix it. his name is irfan. firstly he took a visiting fees of Rs. 600 inspite of the live warranty period. thereafter the condition just kept going worse. first time it was the problem of the drum. Then right after "fixing" the front panel went bust. then they claimed that the spare parts are not available and to see the sample of the front panel they took away the original one from our machine. then again the drum went bust.
Even after repeated requests and reminders nobody came to attend the complaints. Finally when we asked for the refund of our extended warranty, they sent a samsung electrian to our place. the ordeal was far from over. the relaince guys refused to issue a work order for the new parts. so obviously the company guy could not start his job. only after convincing the company guy and agreeing to pay him his fees and the price of spare parts which is whopping amount of Rs. 3590.
The company guy told us that irfan, who is the reliance electrician, had messed up the entire wiring. Mangesh is the head of customer service in the vashi outlet. he is one BIG lair. My parents are both senior citizens and pensioners. my mother had to go to the outlet on multiple occasions and request them to send a person to fix the problems. this is pure harrasement of the customers. my machine is out of order for the last 4 months. now even if they agree to pay back our fees of the extended warranty, it is nothing in comparison to the ttrouble my parents had to go through.
