Reliance call it "Resq Care" and in my opinion theres no Resq (Rescue) if you have accidentally purchased this plan for your home appliances.
I bought a PureIT Marvella RO Water Purifier from Reliance Digital in 2013 and was super convinced to buy an extended warranty for the same product. I took the Resq Care Plan for my RO after paying around Rs. 1350. I got the warranty until 2016.
Recently my Water Purifier stopped working and started giving signal that I should change the CSF (Filter and other components). I called up Resq Care on 17th Jan 2015 and they booked a service request and assured me that the technician will visit and will have it diagnosed. After that the product will have parts changed immediately. I was relieved.
I waited for 3 Days and no calls, no follow up. Finally this technician called me 4th day and asked if what was the issue. He asked me to email them copy of my Resq Care Plan Sheet. I did the same and everything went quiet. I started loosing my patience. I called the Resq care customer service again on 23rd, 25th, 26th and requested for an update. All I heard was "We have booked your service request and forwarded the same to concerned department and service center. You will get a call within 24hrs". No calls. No follow up.
My patience came to an end and then I called the customer care on 27th Jan. For my surprise I heard the same line - "We have booked your service request....." and I broke!!!
I asked this customer care guy to patch me up with his supervisor or any senior so that I could explain to him directly. Finally I got a chance to talk to one of the senior person there and he made me assure that complaint will be resolved within 48hrs.
Still waiting....
Do not buy extended warranty plan from Reliance/Resq. If you compare the cost/time/followup and everything, you will find that getting service done from respective product manufacturing company is much better than these.
