Consumer activism is in a very nascent stage. Well time and again I have seen Reliance Fresh near my neighborhood shelving expired and unfit for consumption products in a bin marked as 50% discount..but how can they sell expired edible items..and clearly a case of cheating and playing with consumers health.. .In the enclosed picture .u can see the bread packet thats torn, juice that are long expired of their 6 months life..the best part was most of them does even bother to chk it before they buy! The Saint juice - 9 months old!!— This is at at Relaince Fresh, Madipakkam.
Hope the authorities take action and manage shelve l life of products more with norms
