I m a Jio user. After using reliance jio all these months, it made me feel that its time for using JioFi broadband.
I have a laptop and sometimes I need to carry it due to my official works. So it was necessary for me to get a portable wifi connection, to get rid of poor internet connections. Then I opt for Jio-Fi.
The product is handy, you can carry anywhere you want. The device is compact and can be fit easily inside a pocket.
You can turn "on" or "off" as per your needs by simply pressing the button. Then there are indicators, indicates the battery status, connection status and of course the power button.
The device needs a jio sim to work, which has a number, so that you can recharge as per your needs, from the retailer or from the recharge base applications like phone pe, mobikwik, paytm, etc.
Now, coming to the connectivity, I have got a good response so far. It has a good surfing speed, but yes not so good downloading speed. Average down speed is around 700-800 kbps. Though it can go up to 1 Mbps. You tube runs without interruption. The only drawback I can tell is that, it is not suitable to work on multiple devices, if your recharge top-up is low. If you are connecting on multiple devices then there is a chance of poor connection. I would suggest up to 2 devices you will get the benefits. There is also a connectivity issue on higher altitudes or remote areas. Reliance is currently working on it and hopefully will solve the issue soon.
The service and support team is good. Customer care is quite responsive to the problems.
Jio-Fi is a value for money device at its price range. If you want a gadget to provide internet connection as you travel outstations for work, then it is much suitable for you.
