I buy this mobile with booking it. This mobile has looks great but there are any problems with it
This is only feature phone not smart phone and the os is just named kaios but this is not fully suppoted kaios as I tried to install external apps ( out of jio store) I can’t do it.
The jio phone only supports some apps like hotstar youtube etc . But the user experience with them is very bad.
Only one good thing I found was it’s browser support html5 but while opening large web pages it hangs so I can’t surf internet smoothly and an other thing is that the browser doesnot supports multi tab which makes it wroste browser I ever used.
There is an NFC sensor but the app for is not available . The front and back cameras are attract but pixel size is very low so image size ( clarity ) is missing and it is very hard to focus with it.
About jio games it is only available online and there is bug some time screen remain blank while starting game and another error is that while loading games screen turn off which make it useless
Other thing is that about 4g this phone can’t used to download hd movies as doesnot support it and for jio tv 3g also inuff as screen size is small. Technically there is no need of 4g ( i.e. 1mb to 20mb per sec) it will need only 3g ( i.e. 100kb to 2mb per sec) .
Other point about packs of jio which is only one reason to use that phone but there are too good plans with other operators .
Last point is hardware as jio phone has qualcum snapdragon processor with 512mb ram. Software is main reason which use hardware efficiently. As we seen with I phone x with 3gb of ram but work faster than phone of 4gb or more ram.
Performance of a mobile is not only depends on hardware but also software and at software this phone is realy bad.
According to my experience with it I strongly recommend that buy a second hand mobile rather than jio phone.
