Relience is really doing a great job by launching new and exciting devices.
The Jio Phone 2 is indeed a feature phone but tried to bridge the gap between a smartphone and a feature phone with 4G connectivity, support for popular apps, a QWERTY keypad and dual SIM support.
In order words, it is mostly a feature phone with some added features which make it comparable to an entry-level smartphone. It lets you browse, watch videos, make 4G calls, video calls and access apps such as Facebook, YouTube and Google Maps. Reliance Jio has promised that it will add WhatsApp support to its Jio Phone range.
Surprisingly, the Google Assistant functionality will come as a surprise to many since it takes inputs perfectly but is a little slow, which is obvious.
We were really impressed with the audio quality, both while talking over the call or listening to music while the best part for us was to see Facebook notifications being displayed on a feature phone. You also have access to the Jio suite of apps which includes JioTV, Jio Pay, JioChat, MyJio App, Jio Store and more.
While Jio Pay is Jio’s own digital wallet, JioTV offers live TV channels. When it comes to usability, there is the Jio Cinema app for streaming movies, Jio Music for audio streaming and for a curated news feed, there is the Jio Xpress News app.
One of the biggest ‘smart’ features of the Jio Phone 2 is the fact that it packs a USB cable which comes with the charger, you can also play all streams from the Jio Phone 2 on your TV.
Its a best phone for someone who wants to surf only light apps like facebook , youtube and other socialedia apps.
In this price , Its really worth it !
