I am a reliance customer for the past 1 year exactly. Well, I was having a Mobile phone, later I disconnected the mobile and subscribed for a Land Line phone.
They charged me 2000 rs ( for the LG210 HAND SET) they call it as next gen I phone, trust me, that’s like the cheapest PENSONIC phones avaliable for 300 or 400 bucks. + 1000 for STD deposit.
I seldom use the Phone for Internet - R- Connect.
They say that their connections speeds are upto 114KPBS. Dont get carried away with those gimmicks. Nothing happens more than 10kps per sec lol ;). I have attached a comparison summary report which was done online in my Office and my home as well. This was done at https://testmy.net. I was really annoyed looking at the summary. the first report was taken in my office internet connection. later one is in my home.

Mann... in my office it’s like drivin’ a Sports car and in my home, I feel like travelling in a old steam train, which goes from Mettupalayam to Ooty in the Ghat section. Cant take it any more. . . :- (
And now talking about the billing and summary. Yeah, there is no problem in billing at all from day 1. Itemized bills are sent and every thing is precise and perfect. I pay 650 + tax for the internet connection, plus usage charges. I find this is not worth for 7kpbs speed. But when I really needed internet an year back, airtel’s broadband in my area did not exist and hathway was ready to rip 7000 plus for cable. But I was not intrested. I purchased reliance, coz I had no other go. Well, guess what? now airtel has broad band in my area. Tomorrow I am getting things done, I dont know what will be the cock and bull stories tomorrow !!! Lemme keep updating...
One more thing, the reliance web world representatives are de worst people ever I have seen. They are always like so pissed off in life. I know why?, they are paid less I guess - dat was a joke. The one web world express in BTM lay out 16th Main, Bangalore - Juz opposite to Udupi garden - god, they don’ keep de a/c on & de dirtiest and it stinks high time...
