After considering all aspects RIM still seems the best bet with all the attractive features. No harm in taking a calculated risk by applying now.
Reliance has a good track record and will not fool people and spoil their image when they are entering the market in such a big way.
Moreover early birds will get their handsets fast and no charges till end March - billing starts in April only.
Mobiles will be a common item owned by a large portion of the population and RIL offers a solution which will be cheap and affordable. Moreover the other built in features of the service like internet browsing facility, Dynamic locking facility, optical fibre network etc are new concepts in cellular service.
I would strongly recommend the new service to any friend.
Withdrawal from the scheme is also possible but I doubt whether many people would opt out after the service starts.
