Finally the title of this article comes true - In a casual check of my bill from Reliance I happened to notice that I have been charged a higher rate for my fixed component and have been provided a lower component as free air time.


Therefore since I have the Budget 149 plan I am suppose to be charged (149 - as per scheme and 100 - club charges). I have now been charged 317 while the free-time to be provided was suppose to be worth 100/- as against which I have been provided Rs 55/-. I currently use the mobile solely for the Internet as a result of which my total bill value is Rs 2157/- On speaking to the customer care person I was told that they ’’understand’’ my dilemma and therefore as a special case they will rectify the problem within ’’3-6 days’’ However in the interim I have to pay the bill irrespective of the amount on the bill.


This therefore makes me wonder how often this is happening with other people and most likely this would happen with high bill values so that these small differences are not noticed. Pls beware of the same....
