Hi all iam not sure how many of u all aware abt this..Let me make it short
I have a strong advice to make - never think about going for a connection with Reliance...Iam suffering customer or reliance...
Some facts...
Lousy messaging system
The phone get hang when we use hands free ( phone and headphone provided by reliance ) Hang in the sense no incoming and outgoing calls.. we never realise until some one calls u on another phone and tell u whats wrong with ur phone...
Though STD is enabled Calling to another mobile phone in different state is highly ruled out..it says that ’’ THIS FACILITY IS NOT ENABLED IN YOUR PHONE’’...So I called up the Customer care adn told them the problem..SO they came with a marvellous answer ’’ Sir presently you cant make a call to this service provider in one weeks time we will resolve this issue.’’ In a gap of one week I found I cant make calls to another Mobile phone provider...Customer care again the same answer ’’ In a matter one weeks time we can resolve the issue’’...
When I mentioned about the STD I have to tell u one more thing I had picked up the reliance phone in the first batch of phones immediatly after they launched most of the service was not working those days, still those services are not working..During those days the STD charges to the land phone and mobile phone they mention in the leaflet that beyond 50KMS it is Rs1.90 for a minute...I was happy about it...Last week I went to the Reliance outlet to know the actual facts...This time in their brochure they have changed the charges...it is around Rs 4 per minute...Sad fact they havent informed me as if today they have changed the tariffs....
Now when some one calls me from..the phone rings once then they get an error stating that ’’this call couldnt be completed’’..I will never even know there is call came in like that Sad again...
Then I complained to the customer care that I have a problem on the phone most of the time I get on the phone ’’ Enter service area’’ and Leaving service area...Customer care gave me a funny answer is that this happens becoz Wind may be strong in that area...
Finally a phone doesnt offering the following
1. Proper STD facility
2. Proper Messaging system
3. Roaming facility atleast thru out in India( Reliance offers Roaming but the number keeps changing with each area u enter )
4. No proper incoming calls from other network phone
5. Billing never happens ( happy factor for the customer...DOnt worry Reliance strongly believes sending u the bill once in a year :)) ) Its almost 5 months of mobile using I havent recieved the bill...isnt it a good thing??
Since this service is not there I thot I will terminate the connection...That was more shocking for me...Not only that I have to loose the intial deposit I made...they are gonna charge me the initial calls which I made with the present telphone charges...So basically iam STUCK with this connection....
Now let me explain about 400 minutes of talk time free...that means for reliance 400minutes is 40paise X 400 minutes = 160Rupeess of talk time free...that is again like this if u make call to landphone for 3 minutes it is Rs4.20
so if u make call to land phone u get almost 40 minutes of talk time :))
My strong advice never goes for this connection unless ur all the relatives has a Reliance phone...
