4 visits to a A/C R Webworld brought a WLL phone home: Sweet experiences follows: 1st visit: Enquired about the tarrif details, given a pamlet, directed to produce 2 documents and pay Rs. 1800. I pointed that, there is a kiosk shows Rs. 1700 to get the phone. Manager lady in high pitch voice, dealer blah blah hoh hoh etc.
Ok, I don’t care, u are dealer or the other kiosk is dealer. 2nd visit: Produced 2 docs. not satisfied. (Seems that they are giving free of cost service, asked for more docs.) 3rd visit: Handed over the docs. Person 1 fills the form (Not bothered about my options or my requests. I really needed a terminal and I can use my own cordless. - Bunch of IDIOTS at the counter), Form was tossed Person 2 and he stares at the form for 5 min and tosses to Person 3 and he is again.
I queries whats wrong, address is wrong he replied. Form was filled out by Person 1 and he referred to the government documents and made mistake. Great Person 3 don’t have a brain to check the doc and was starring at the form and me. I showed him the address on the doc and he corrects the form and gave a ticket (piece of paper) and promised to call and inform about the connection in 48 hrs. 4 th visit: No calls. Went directly close to 48 hrs and enquired, got the phone. Enquired about internet connection, no answer from them. About STD, got reply that 7 days, automatically available. After 2 days: I tried STD number. Message said, call *333. I called *333 and was asked to call *366. Called *366, customer care Person said, I have to make a request for STD and STD will be activated in 72 hrs. WAS SURPRISED ABOUT the contradictory answer by Web world guy and customer care. OK, Take the request now and she checked everything and replied CALL after some time, upgrade is going on. I requested to take the info. in a paper and do it whenever upgrade is done. Refused. Called after sometime and request was made and told 72 hrs, std will be activated. While close to 72 hrs, no Std, called *366 and was told, std is already available.
I told not activated and asked when will it be. He said technical problems, soon you will get it. He said usually in 24hr to 36 hrs after request, std will be activated. In my case, after 72hrs also nothing happened. All their answers to my queiries are contradictory. I decided to disconnect and called *366 again, because of their misleading informations. Asked for the procedure and how much I will get back from what I paid. Pay the dues and go to the R Web world and return the phone in a commanding tone and was asking identity to give this stupid info.
MORAL: Very bad experiences in talking to these customer care and the people working in their centers. They are not professionals. They do service like kiosks in villages. No prompt answers. Blah blah. Horrible experience, have to pay to get this experience and I have to find a site like this to post my experience. These Private Companies think they are doing good job like west in this country, final out come is bad than Government Companies.
