Well, I can’t really complaint, because I knew what to expect from Reliance. Still, 10p brokerage was a bit tempting, and so I requested for an account with Reliance Money(RM).
The executive came and I asked him how much time will it take. He said 15 days. I told him that I am just taking a chance and have a feel of what dealing with Relaince is like. I told him that if these 2 conditions are fullfilled, I would be thrilled-
My account is opened within a month time.
There is no mess up while opening the account.
The money was deducted from my account and it is already 2 months, no kit yet. Reason? They sent my kit to a different city, and the courier company is calling me to collect my kit from that city, which is 1900 kms from Mumbai, where I am based.
So, they could not satisfy either criterion. But I have no complaints. I knew I was going to take a chance for 750 rupees. And I am happy with HDFC security. Cheap is not always the best option.
But there is something in the human nature that keeps him/her away from doing things he/she knows is not correct. A few days ago I got an sms from Reliance asking whether I would be interested in Wimax internet connection from Reliance, and I did call them and inquired the details. But then I convinced myself that I will not look ay any Reliance product ever, whatever may be the price and claims. That is a much better option than complaining.
