Reliance is harassing - very shameless !!

Minutes before I got a call from some person called Kiran claiming to be from Reliance over so-called non payment of the bill. He denied to provide his full name & office details despite repeated request.


I suspect he is a hired recovery agent or goon by Reliance NetConnect Co.


This is @ 9379981572 Account No 2910124620 about a year ago.


Users, please take a note that terminating the netconnect connection with Reliance is the most


unacceptable experience one can ever go thru.


The termination(for whatever reasons Reliance knows better) takes about 15 days since the day you tell them. This very process generates leads to one more billing cycle which results into one extra bill for the fixed charges plan you’ve opted for.


In my case, the datacard was not used for 2 months before the closure of the account took place in effect.


the bandwidth had already been dropped to unacceptable levels by any poorest standards one can think of.


Meanwhile I had paid the amount in full until the billing cycle month when the termination was confirmed over phone from their end.


You will not believe but It took almost 3-4 days for closure confirmation that folks from reliance back office team was pursuing me everyday during office hrs to stay with them, trying to suggest me various different options but they never had any answer or commitment about the basic quality of service i.e. the committed or advertised bandwidth. finally they gave in as I stuck to my stand not to continue with them.


During my phone calls about closure, I had repeated brought into their notice that I had already stopped using their service many weeks before as the service is completely hopeless and useless by any standards. By the time my account was closed, which took 2 following weeks, Reliance billing department happily generated one more bill and asked me to pay up!


Guys - this is how reliance fraudulent process is all about - this is how their internal departments are working. The head office is I believe in Mumbai and very unprofessional in their conduct is what I could summarize from my experience.


Anyways,


I’ve all the supporting docs & email communications with them in this regards.


I’m planning to initiate a legal action & register a police complain against them.


This is in context of recent calls that I started getting from their unsolicited calls from local recovery agents or hired goons over non-payment of last cycle.


Not sure if complaint with consumer court would help here.


Can someone share their experience in this regard / guide me further?

since then reliance is harassing me over non-payment of the bill(ref: got a call again today from this number: 7795129929) - even after completing all formalities and paying them entire amount for the month where the usage of their data card was zero.
