Worst Experience I ever had with a Phone Company

On 13-Aug-2009, I have purchased Reliance NetConnect Broadband+ online from rcom.co.in website by paying through credit card.


It was sent to me the same day and they took my documents promising that it will be activated within 24 hours.It has been 2+ weeks and not yet activated.


I just got a call from somebody from their Noida Office, saying that my address verification has failed. It is bull sh*t, when the verification guy had come, I was at home.They say, they don’t give post paid connection to bachelors.


This clause is not at all mentioned on their website. They don’t care how much a person is earning or where he is working. They just said, since you are bachelor and staying single, we cant activate your connection.And after writing lot of emails, they have asked me to shell out another Rs.1, 500/- as security advance for getting the connection activated.


The made in China device, that they are selling at Rs.3, 500/- should be enough for a security.When a person can spend this much to purchase the device why can’t he pay few hundred bucks bills.These guys don’t have brains.I gave them my Reliance Mobile number which I’m using since long and have paid all my bills on time.Now I’m writing emails to their service assurance cells & Nodal Officers every day, asking them to take their device back (as I have never used it & it was never activated) and refund my 3.5K back.If any of you have got a refund from Reliance ever, do share the procedure with me.
