I want to complain against the reliance life insurance company for making the fraudlent commitment while selling the insurance to me. Last year in June 2011, I purchased a policy from this company and while they were making the commitment, they said that as part of the policy promotion, I would receive the 2 gram gold coin and 6% commission on the policy. After couple of months when I didnt receive any gold coin and commission cheque, I reached out to those guys and asked why Ive not received the amount and gold coin then they said its in process and would be delivered to me in the next month and the gold coin that was committed to me was of 1 gram but not the 2 gram so I had the heated conversation with them but when I see that conversation is not going anywhere but I asked at least deliver 1 gram gold coin to me. Then after couple of months I received a call from their executive I would receive the gold coin in 2 different parts so first they would send me .5 gram and then in next month Ill receive another .5 gram. I received the first .5 gram but never received another .5 gram and the commission cheque.
In between I received many calls that if I make the premium early i.e. prior to 2012 holi festival then Ill receive the 2 Liter LG Microwave however when I searched and queried them then it turned out that they were trying to sell me new insurance policy. After this incident another executive called me in april 2012 and said that if I made 20, 000 extra to the premium then Ill receive an hefty amount in one year. I abruptly hung up the call. When I had these two conversation they agreed that my .5 gram cold coin is not delivered and my 6000 cheque is also not paid.
Now when I sent a mail to reliance life insurance companys customer care then they said they dont have such scheme attached with this policy and advised that to reach out to the executive who sold me this policy.
Now how the hell I can reach out to that executive as her no. is stating that its out of order and I took the insurance from reliance life insurance and they should take this call instead of passing the responsibility to the vendor India Infoline Noida.
Im not sure whether my problem will be resolved or not but at least others would be aware and alert while making purchase with this or any other company.
