Today, I too contributed in making the company rich, richer and richest. Must have done numerous times before but do not recall rather register.
Trust me you too would have a great contribution in making The Ambanis.
This evening at Reliance Industries Limited ‘s Smart Point in Patiala, I understood how each penny counts in making the company grow big.
I purchased a few items which included a set of plastic containers that were on discount (as mentioned) on the rack. Marked value - Rs 180/- and after discount - Rs 99/-.
Habitually do not check the bill but this time do not know why I did.
Asked the salesman and then the cashier about the selling price of the containers. They checked on the rack which mentioned the discounted cost. But the computerised system first showed 180/- and on rechecking and pressure from the customer (me) corrected and came down to 99/-.
Now the matter of concern is that most people do not check the bills in detail. So, if the company’s billing system is made in a way that it fleeces each customer with some amount - keeping the number of stores in all cities in the entire country.
In a single day they would be making in crores - loot!
Not only this, the staff was rude and arrogant, ready to retaliate. Incident has been video recorded. Is the staff also been trained to do so if caught red handed ?
But certainly the cheated money does not go into the pockets or the staff as it is all recorded and monitored by the company.
