I’m using Reliance Broadnet Wimax Internet service since December 2007. As I don’t used any other Wimax providers service so I’m not going to write any thing about them.
My Experience with Reliance Wimax is Mixed. I observed good thing about reliance wimax service is day by day they are improving their service.
I have used Airtel Broadband from 2006 Aug to 2007 Nov and my experience with Airtel Broadband internet service is very good. I really appreciate their good service as they send notification mails and SMS’s regarding their service outage before 24hrs. So people like me can plan to go to office during that time as I worked 24x7 App Support.
As I changed my residence and Airtel is not available so reliance is the good option for me as Tata was asking about big deposit money.
Disadvantages -
1> It takes 5 to 10 minutes to get the IP from ISP
2> Speed is non consistance.
3> Customer Care Support need more improvement.
4> Not good if you use with Wireless Router.
Advantages -
1> You may get more speed than your subscription plan limit.
2> Torrent Download is faster.
As I used Internet for Movie, Software Download and Office work I always prefer unlimited data plan. Unlimited data plan is always good because you will never get wrong bill.
* Now days I’m worried as ISP’s are setting limit on unlimited plans.
