Reliance WIMAX- Latest way of looting customers

My name is Diwakar and I a network engineer. I stay in Bangalore outskirts where

all the ISP (Airtel, Tata Indicom, Hathway) told that they dont have

feasibility for giving internet connection. Finally I heard about Reliance

WIMAX where no cable has to be digged and the internet speed is also good. As

soon as I heard I called Reliance customer care to apply for the Internet

connection. After 20 days of struggle I got

Reliacne WIMAX internet connection. I am getting a signal which varied

between 19 and 22, the guy from reliance who came during installation told 18

will be enough to get an average speed. I was happy because my signal was

between 19 and 22. I am very much dependent on internet connection as most of

the times I work from home. Reliance WIMAX worked fine for me for almost one

week with out any interruption, so I recommended 3 of my friends to go for

Reliance WIMAX. But from past one week I am facing a serious issue with the

network connectivity, in a day I will have atleast 8 to 10 hours downtime. When

ever I call customer care, they will inform that there is some upgrade, wont

they have courtesy to inform their customer through email regarding the outage,

this will help us to plan our day. How can they do upgrade their servers on

Peak hours that too not informing their customers it sounds like …… man. I

appreciate Reliance for bringing new technology, but they always bring new

technology thinking they can loot customers in new way.

I have called Reliance customer care atleast 20 times in this

past one month. Now I am planning to buy reliance land line so that I can save

at least 300 Rs per month as I can call customer care for free.:)

**From past 48 (10/10/2007 to 11/10/2007) hours all users in India are facing issue with the WIMAX connection. I dont know what kind of super Network upgrade they are doing which is taking 48 hours.  I will provide an update once it is up.

Latest update(as on 11/10/07) the connection was up for 30 minutes. Now again it has gone down. When I called customer care they are telling it will get resolved by tomorrow 3 PM.

I hate Reliance

**

Finally I would like to say dont go for Reliance WIMAX- The

new way of looting customers.

If you require any more detail regarding this please put a

comment I will reply you as soon as possible.
