I took reliance wimax last week. My experience with reliance while getting the connection itself was bad. For setting up new connection, reliance dint recruit any skiilled professionals (with mininum knowledge of computers). They are just normal cable operators who know only cutting cables, fixing one end to our TV and other end to some other cable joint. Person who came to give connection had Zero knowledge of what a computer is? or what is internet? It took them 5 hours to set up one silly connection. My parents almost kicked me for opting for a connection like this :(.
Now I will move on to my next bad experience.
for 1st few days everything was fine. Honeymoon period came to an end yday. From morning I was not able to connect to internet. After I came home in night, from office. I called us customer care. Call got connected quickly, a lady spoke to me for verification. (Job of reliance customer care ends there). She asked me to stay online as shell be transfering the call to technical department. I was on hold for 25 minutes. No one spoke to me , I started enjoying the silly reliance music ;( . Thanks to excellent network of so called network gaint vodafone, the call got disconnected due to bad network. I called again, for no avail. Even for the second time I was on hold for 13 minutes. I disconnected the call as I already spent more then 35/- just to get my problem rectified.
So my question to reliance is, **Is there anything called technical team in relinace ?
*Today I called customer care, and blasted them for this carelessness. Though internet is working from today morning, I need explanation for the thing which happened yday.
If the server was down or something, customer care shud have told me that clearly yday. If there was no such issue then why dint I get connection for whole day.
As a product I really like reliance wimax. Its first of its kind in India. I wish them all success, But unless they rectify all the supporting infrastructure, people will suffer.
