movie is true story of alexandria in US where football is passion also there lies animosity among the people due to racial discrimination. Amid the riots authority decides appoint Herman Boon a black ( Denzel Washington) as their football coach replacing Bill Yoast (Will Patton) for the new season. Herman boon decides to make a team for the season comprises of both black and whites where as coach yoast decided to assist him on temporary basis. On the camp boon followed a rigorous schedule and took measures to alleviate the hostility between two groups. In between the captain of Titan Gary Bartier (Ryan Hurst) and Julios Campbell (Wood Harris) became best of friends after shooting out rift between them, their friendship inspired the other boys. Hence the camp became successful in formation of strong comprehensive unit of player. when the teams come back both black and white school was combined, this move was opposed by the parents of the students and these students were made to face the reality where no one wants them to be together but they stood to them. Titan begain their season with the bang with each match they grew stronger as both coaches developed a mutual respect between them. In the end Titan won the trophy.
movie is perfect example of how to express the gravity of situation in the pictures. director boaz Yakin has done a great job. Denzel washington is once again with mind blowing performance his delivery of speeches and expression mesmerized the audience. the performance of the other actors are worth cheering. dialouge writing is exceptional, I think it is one of those movies where charisma is emerged from the dialogues. overall its complete package of fun, emotions, sportsman spirit and brotherhood.
