Beware of Remit2India. They just don’t do what they commit before remittance.
1) Customer service is poor.
2) No one help you if you get any issue (ex: I did remittance twice, it took 15 to 20 days and no one don’t know the reason).
3) It happened once, my account was debited and after 3 days I got reply from them that they didn’t received my check. I’d called them and No one knows the reason and after a week it has been resolved.
4) Website shows best exchange rates compare to ICICI and HDFC etc... but don’t believe them. After 15 to 20 days you’l observe that you been cheated by giving you less exchange rate than ICICI and other banks.
5) Totally its not worthy to try and don’t waste your time.6) Better to send wire transfer unless if you are sending less than 1000 dollars.
