More important that applying make up

Although applying make up is an art, removing it is an absolute necessity. And sadly, most of us are too lazy or too busy to bother with it. Let me help you get an insight on this aspect.

Applying make up rarely harms your skin. It is the process of removing it that can be hazardous. Remember, never try to scrub make up out of your face or lips with a wet cotton ball. Nowadays, most of the make up is waterproof and will be resistant to water thus giving you a rash.Instead, try Lakme deep Cleansing milk. I would strongly recommend Johnson’s baby lotion. It works as an excellent make up remover!Take a few drops of it on a cotton ball and clean your make up gently. It is very safe and usually suits all skin types.(try it on a small part of your face to see if it suits you first).

The same can be done for the lips too. Now remember, eyes are the most sensitive and need maximum care. Eyeshadow and liner can be removed with Johnson’s baby lotion.I highly recommend Avon eye make up remover. It is very gentle and works like magic.NEVER leave mascara on overnight! It dries up your eyelashes and makes them brittle. Gently remove the mascara before you sleep.

After removing the make up, wash your face with a gentle cleanser.Pat it dry. Now use a refreshing toner like Nivea or St.Ives.(Johnson’s toner is also good). Let your face dry naturally after applying the toner. Now use a light moisturiser and massage your face gently. Apply a little amount of Vaseline or any chap stick on your lips before you go to bed.

Try this and Voila! The next morning when you wake up, your skin will no longer feel rough and dry, but smooth and replenished! So remember, if you are going out of town, you may forget your make up! But never forget the make up removers.
