Renaissance one of the famous International Hotel located in posh area of Powai . I had visited this hotel couple of times with my office colleagues .
I have been there on musical night by Shreya Ghosal, Sonu Nigam, Arjit Singh etc . The open space overlooking the Powai lake is awesome place to hang out .
There are basically two options buffet or you can order your food also . We had ordered our food instead of buffet 1st time and during the second visit wehad visited the buffet area . The food they serve here is awesome especially the starters and desserts .
The soup is of rich texture but light . The salad spread will sweep you off your feet . The salads range include salads from all corners of the world including a wide range of bread . The menu was just too wide . starting from soups . starters till dessert . brownie was just mouth watering . Perfect ambience one Hotel should have . The cafe offers a clear view of the expansive lake, while you start preparing to stuff yourself with the wide array of dishes that the lunch buffet offers .
No matter how hard you try, you can never even taste half of the dishes spread out in the wide hall . We have tasted the grilled prawns, king fish and basa fish that were served smoking hot from the grill and the keema pav prepared at the live counter were the most delicious preparations I ever had, while the chicken pesto kabab and the different kinds of cheese and crackers were also quite interesting .
The staff was quite generous to lead and help us with the different food sections during our 1st visit . There are quite number of cuisines like North Indian, Italian, Continental etc, the famous dishes of them are Chocolate Ganache, Eggs Benedict . We have enjoyed all luxuries one should enjoy during the visit in International Hotel . Best place to hangout with loved one’s . I would like to rate this awesome Hotel 5 out of 5 .
