Renault kwid launched in india in two variants i.e. 800cc and 1000cc . The 1000cc variant starts at 3.83 lacs and 800cc variant starts at 2.50 lacs INR . The specs of both the variants are quite similar but 1000cc has amt gearbox and it proves to be a strong competitor in its segment . I think that it is a valueable car for the indian users and it is very fuel and cost efficient vehicle. But the main disadvantage is that the body of the car is not so strong as compared to its rivals in its segement . The car looks good but it is not purely metal based vehicle as compared to tata tiago . It also weighs approx 695 kgs which is not impressive . This shows the weak base of the car . This is the only major disadvantage of this vehicle, otherwise the car proved to be good performer in other areas .
