My friend purchased the Renault KWID Climber 1 year ago. After a lots of searching finally we decided to buy this car that time. The first 2 months the performance is ok. But after that the engine started producing loud noise which can be hear inside the cabin. The performance is also poor. When overtaking a vehicle it produces loud noise and vibration while accelerating. There is enough space inside the car but it feels like going in a goods vehicle. The engine power is poor. The kwid comes with inbuilt touchscreen music system and the touch is not working properly. The first time it didn’t recognize the pen drive but now the touch is not working. Coming to the A/c the engine lost its power in climbing roads while in AC. The engine struggle to achieve the power. The suspension were good but can hear the noise of the shocks when they jerks. Coming to the millege the first 6 months he got about 20Km per liter but it may vary while taking too much power. Now it is getting about 16km max.
The material used in dashboard and all other thing is plastic and it started to fade the color now. I personally didn’t like the meter console as they look like Chinese made led displays. It is a better option to purchase an Alto instead of this car as it provides more powerful engine with build quality. Overall renault didn’t concentrate on the quality and only concentrated to make a budget car with cheap quality. I will not recommend this to anyone.
