We all like to find things that streamline daily tasks and make life a bit easier for us. This product-Renu 1 Step Enzyme Solution does just that for those of us who wear contact lenses. This is a product that does it all-cleans, rinses, disinfects and stores, and even removes those nasty protein deposits. You might even say this solution is a ’’jack-of-all-trades.’’
This is my product of choice because not only does it make lens care simpler and more efficient, but because it can do so much, it is also cost effective.
One Step is a sterile, buffered, isotonic solution, with other additives including boric acid and sodium citrate. Boric acid, you say? Well, it sounds bad, but it has been my experience that this solution causes no stinging or irritation.
This solution, however, makes no claim to being suited for those who have sensitive eyes. If you do wear contacts and have sensitive eyes, you may want to proceed with caution. As with any contact lens product, if you do try this and experience any burning, stinging or irritation, discontinue use immediately.
Fortunately, this has never been a problem for me, and I have been using this off and on for well over a year. I have a large family and I don’t have a lot of time to be fussing with various contact lens products, so this has worked out very well. It saves time, hassle and money and does all of its tasks well. I would recommend at least giving this solution a shot. It has certainly simplified my life, and I would be willing to bet it would simplify yours as well.
